The Occupational Therapy Department of Nazareth College of Rochester, New York, invites applications for clinical position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor to begin August 2022. The department seeks candidates committed to teaching excellence at a comprehensive institution that supports both liberal arts curricula and professional programs.
Requirements include at least five years of clinical experience,
a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion are required,
licensed or eligible for OT licensure in New York State, certified
nationally as an Occupational Therapist, and excellent
interpersonal and organizational skills. The preferred candidate
will hold an earned doctorate degree.
Clinical faculty responsibilities include course development and
teaching, advising students, guiding student research project
development, supervision in the on-campus OT Clinics, and service
to the College and community. The position might also include some
aspects of fieldwork coordination. Expertise in evaluation and
intervention of neurological conditions, public health and
management is preferred. Salary is commensurate with
experience.
Required Education
Minimum Masters in Occupational Therapy; doctorate preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
