Title: Springfield Center Coordinator of Student Services

Position Summary: To coordinate the operations and activities at the Center associated with all Student Services areas in order to assist students with academic success, educational goals, and wraparound support.

Duties and Responsibilities: Assists Director with coordinating the staffing needs and the daily operations. In conjunction with the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, oversees the Center in the absence of the Director. Answers questions relative to financial aid. Processes requests and answers questions relative to Adult Learners and Veterans Affairs and/or Veterans' educational benefits. Coordinates the testing schedule. Provides admission and career counseling. Provides guidance to students as well as wraparound support as appropriate. Develops and implements programs and events aimed at student engagement to include but not limited to various student activities. Ensures that students attending classes during evening hours or online have access to student support resources. Schedules and implements new student orientation. Advises students. Coordinates the student ID process. Supervises student workers. Collects admissions information and answers questions relative to admission to the College as appropriate. Manages the Center's food pantry, The Feed. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Three (3) years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree. Experience in higher education. Banner or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Work Characteristics: Ability to react to change productively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Strong oral and written communication skills. Must have analytical skills and attention to detail.

Pay Rate: 36,650.00 - 45,810.00 annual salary depending on experience
