Job Summary
Lead a creative and driven team that partners with internal University clients to develop effective multi-media marketing strategies and campaigns. Manage projects by leveraging a diverse group of department specialists including: content developers, graphic designers, website developers, photo/video specialists, and the director of brand and marketing. Demonstrate relationship management excellence as the leader of two marketing specialists, and liaison to University clients including college deans, admissions directors, and administrative staff members. Serve as an ambassador of and promote the University's brand.

Due to the Governor's approval for the Cost of Living Adjustment to Fiscal Years 2022 and 2023, final salaries at the time of hire may be impacted, but will not be lower than what is advertised.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Work with clients and cross-functional internal department teams to conceive and help implement multi-media marketing campaigns that may involve websites, paid search, mass media, banner advertising, email, print collateral, special event, and social media
  • Act as the manager and primary point of contact on submitted projects; from initial strategy and creative concept development, to content development, then design, deployment, and KPI reporting to clients and other stakeholders
  • Develop strategies and creative campaigns that directly affect recruitment of new students and retention of existing students
  • Liaise with external media agency to develop cost-effective paid advertising packages that effectively deliver on creative campaigns
  • Evaluate paid media, website, and CRM performance metrics in order to optimize efforts as well as identify new areas of opportunity
  • Manage two marketing specialists by ensuring project work is on strategy and on pace, and ensuring team's job satisfaction and engagement
  • Act as a brand steward in order to champion the University's identity to our audiences effectively
  • Collaborate effectively with University Communications and Marketing team members as appropriate on tactics such as: organic social media posting, internal communication campaigns, and student stories

  • Five (5) years of related work experience

Proposed Salary
$29.47 - $30.71 per hour

  • Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position

KNOWLEDGE
  • Experience with both traditional and digital/direct response marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with websites, SEO, and CRMs a plus

  • Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills
  • Excellent relationship management with clients, employees, cross-functional department team, and other University stakeholders
