Job Summary
Deliver first tier customer service support to the University on various Human Resources subject matters. Provide first point of contact support to calls/emails/chats/MyHelp tickets/in person requests internal and external to the University. Respond to inquiries to answer questions and resolve issues. Provide administrative support for the department.

Due to the Governor's approval for the Cost of Living Adjustment to Fiscal Years 2022 and 2023, final salaries at the time of hire may be impacted, but will not be lower than what is advertised.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Build and maintain relationships with campus constituents
  • Interact with University departments such as Budgets and Payroll to facilitate the completion of any duties
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and University and USG policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures
  • Special Projects as assigned

HRSC
  • Divide time between Human Resources Services Center areas, attending front desk and data entry
  • Perform employment verifications, and process personnel transactions
  • Notarize personnel documents

RECORDS
  • Process personnel data
  • Complete Staff hiring processes after verbal employment offer is accepted
  • Complete the Student/Temporary hiring processes at submission of Request to Hire
  • Communicate with hiring managers and candidates when there are hiring roadblocks


Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience
  • One or more years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized knowledge in Human Resources
  • Ability to input data into HR systems with a high level of accuracy and efficiency

Preferred Experience
  • Experience explaining employee policies and procedures
  • Experience with customer service

Proposed Salary
$17.26 to $18.91 per hour
