We are looking for a Scheduling Coordinator who will provide primary support to colleges and academic departments through scheduling events, meetings and various activities.  This person will be an essential piece of University Scheduling and will need to provide excellent customer services to the academic areas and external constituents.

The most important responsibilities of the Scheduling Coordinator include being at team player in a collaborative office, overseeing the student staff, and ensuring tasks and projects are completed with a high level of efficiency, confidentiality, accuracy, flexibility, and positivity in order to support the work of the Office of University Scheduling.

Key Job Functions:
Under general supervision from The Director of University Scheduling, this position will assist the management and coordination of campus scheduling by identifying, prioritizing and supporting client needs. This position will support internal clients by providing EMS software services and advancing event needs. 

Focus on day of classroom/meeting scheduling to accommodate growing campus needs. Emphasis on scheduling flexibility to enhance student, faculty, staff experience.

Assist the Director in the daily scheduling of campus events by using the EMS software to vet and confirm space requests. Duty requires analysis of complex events and judgment to determine how the request is advanced. Will provide initial customer service to internal which will include follow up, and fact-finding.

Serve as the turnkey liaison for college/department event scheduling. Duties require a thorough understanding of University policies, procedures, and climate. Perform scheduling coordinator duties for other groups as assigned.

Manage and maintain client accounts and event specific databases. Develop, maintain and produce activity reports as requested.

Suggest revisions and updates to university scheduling and event policies and protocols. Provide enhancement recommendations for the EMS software program.

Training and supervising student workers. Develop schedules, manage payroll and complete all other human resource functions for student employees.

Must work closely with the Office of Event Services to provide appropriate and timely event support.
