Mines is offering an academic year salary of $50,000 - $60,000

The Opportunity:

This is a Full-time Postdoctoral Researcher position available in the Center for Welding, Joining, and Coatings Research. The postdoc will focus on simulation of phase transformations, thermal profiles, stress evolution and fluid flow during welding and additive manufacturing processes, and perform materials property degradation analysis. Minimum Qualifications: - Applicants must have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Welding, or other relevant discipline;
- Research experience in finite element and/or computational fluid dynamics simulation;
- Record of demonstrated potential for writing peer-reviewed journal publications.
