Responsible for providing patrons with customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of pool programs and schedule changes; knowledge of natatorium rules and regulations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma plus six month of equivalent work experience or required course work/certification.

CRITERIA : The following criteria, which are not the sole criteria used in the final hiring decision, will be used to review the applications of those persons who meet the stated minimum qualifications and to select those qualified applicants who will be interviewed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Assists patrons with making racquetball reservations.
• Acts as cashier.
• Monitors the lobby, weight room, and racquetball courts.
• Sells passes for the services rendered by the facility.
• Assists the patrons with direction to other college buildings on campus.
• Ensures that patrons are in the rightful areas.
• Ensures that patrons sign in.
• Ensures that every patron has the appropriate pass.
• Answers phones. Registers patrons. Collects appropriate fees.
• Verifies natatorium passes.
• Performs clerical duties.
• Assists the Natatorium Assistant Manager.
• Performs data entry function for all receipts as required.
• Ensures accuracy of all passes, sales, attendance, and income records at the end of each semester.
• Performs related work as required.

Job Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  1. During the modified re-opening of the Natatorium/Pool, must be able to work assigned shifts between the working days and times Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
  3. As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
  4. A background investigation will be conducted prior to the offer of employment. A signed authorization for the release of personal information will be required if selected for an interview.
