Overview
Reporting to the Director and Associate Director of Campus Engagement within the Office of the Vice President for Campus Life, the Program Coordinator for Campus Engagement will work to support OCE's four major complex campus-wide offerings: Wintersession, Princeton Research Day, First-Year Families Weekend and peer to peer resource group coordination. Each of the four major initiatives engages thoursands of Princeton community members and requires high-touch support, planning and organization. The Program Coordinator's responsibilities include program development and implementation, registration software management, research, coordinating with campus partners, communications design and calendaring, University-wide coordination and student worker supervision.
Responsibilities
R Program Development Assist with facilitating and analyzing data from Wintersession focus groups throughout campus Assist the Associate Director in determining the programmatic objectives and direction of all aspects of Wintersession Serve on Wintersession Advisory Committee and build relationships with members; oversee the Logistics and Communications sub-teams Build partnerships across campus with faculty, staff, and students (undergraduate and graduate) and support partners as they determine what sessions they want to lead Help identify other programmatic opportunities (existing or new) that engage the campus community broadly, in addition to the two-week Wintersession Program Planning, implementation and Evaulation

Assist with
developing Wintersession call-for-proposals process and help
facilitate outreach activities, including for incoming
undergraduates and graduate students
Recruit faculty,
staff, and students, and student groups to take part in
Wintersession and Princeton Research Day
Lead programming and
event logistics of Princeton Research Day and First-Year Families
Weekend
Assist the Associate
Director in managing activities of the Peer to Peer Administrators
Group (including retreats, cross-trainings and end of year award
ceremonies)
Lead Wintersession and
First-Year Families Weekend evening event programming
Assist the Associate
Director in managing all contracts, payments and reimbursements and
internal financial management for all four OCE initiatives
Assist with program
evaluation for all four OCE initiatives
Serve as the office
liaison for initiatives including Princeton Previews, First-Year
Students Orientation and Incoming Graduate Students Orientation
events
- Serve as office representative on key University committees
ES Essential Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree
with at least 3 years of related professional experience.
Familiarity with a
University setting and student programming. Entrepreneurial spirit
and the ability to think creatively and take initiative in a
dynamic environment.
Ability to take
direction, receive constructive feedback; to work in a dynamic and
collaborative environment; and to tolerate ambiguity in a fluid
working process.
Proficiency in the
Microsoft Office suite of applications, web-browsers, social media,
email and Outlook; willingness and ability to learn new software
applications for website content management and university
financial and database systems.

Master's degree
with 4-5 years of related professional experience.
Educational
background in college student personnel, higher education
administration, or other related field.
Experience with
creative educational program development, including program
planning, implementation, and assessment.
