The School of Computer Science and Information Systems at
Northwest Missouri State University is seeking candidates for
tenure track positions to teach various special topics within the
field. The School is seeking candidates with a broad background in
Computer Science and Information Systems with the ability to teach
courses within the scope of object-oriented programming, networking
and security, systems analysis and design, database principles,
data analytics, database principles, cybersecurity, digital
forensics, cryptography, secure systems administration, ethical
hacking and various other special topics in the field.
The successful candidate must participate in School
activities including curriculum development, service activities,
and possibly conduct applied research in these areas. The minimum
requirements for the positions are dependent on rank.
A Doctorate degree is required for tenure track Assistant
Professor positions and a Master’s degree is required for
non-tenure track Instructor positions. The successful candidate
must hold two years of experience in teaching in higher education
