Gannon University, a vibrant Catholic institution committed to
excellence through inclusiveness, invites applications for an
Associate Director of Admissions. This position is responsible for
planning, organizing, and running events developed by the Office of
Admissions both on-campus and off-campus. Events will not only
involve admissions staff but the entire university at times.
Additionally, but not secondarily, direct recruitment of potential
students will also be conducted through high school visits, college
fairs, meetings with visitors to campus, and other communication
channels (social media, texts, emails, and phone calls).
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree. Preferably 2-3 years of higher education work experience as well as direct experience in planning events from small scale to as large as open houses. A strong communicator, not just with fellow staff but with other key constituents across campus (President, VPs, Deans, faculty, policy and safety, physical plant, and more). An open mind to ideas and feedback shared prior to events and after events from campus partners.
