IT Budget & Administration Coordinator (71101)


Location: Brooklyn, NY

Description:
Pratt Institute Division of Information Technology Budget and Administration Department is seeking an IT Budget & Administration Coordinator with excellent administrative and interpersonal communication skills. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the ability to multi-task a wide variety of assignments in a fast-paced environment, have good instincts to resolve problems effectively, have strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and must have the ability to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment and use independent judgment and critical analytic thinking. The ideal candidate will be an organized, effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills who is a flexible team player. On a typical day you will be required to:
  • In coordination with the Director; coordinate and process orders for the Division using the online procurement system, submitting online invoices, inquiring with vendors on order status and deliveries
  • Reconciling expenses, preparing documentation for utility bill reconciliation
  • Assisting the Director with the management of the campus copier acquisitions and campus cell phone plan management
  • Other duties as assigned


The selected candidate will work remotely 2-3 days per week, until further notice.


Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum three year’s budgeting and/or purchasing experience required. Experience within Information Technology environment preferred.

Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills with attention to detail essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and discretion and work under pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite required.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and online document storage software is a plus
