Job Summary
This internship is designed to provide a student at JCCC practical experience working at Johnson County Community College's Farm as well as with JCCC's Center for Sustainability on a variety of projects. Successful applicant must be willing to do farm work as well as office work.
Required Qualifications
- JCCC student
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to conduct duties in a friendly, discreet and
professional manner.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as
accept direction on given assignments.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR along with
background check.
- Travel required within local area and on campus.
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 150 pounds
with the use of designated moving equipment and/or other
assistance.
Preferred Qualifications - JCCC Sustainable Agriculture student in good standing.
