Job Description

The MU School of Natural Resources is looking for Sr. Student Support Specialist.

The position will have primary responsibilities in two areas: internships (50%) and career services (50%). The internship coordinator role is for the Parks, Recreation and Sport undergraduate degree program and career service coordinator is for the broader School of Natural Resources.

Duties and responsibilities associated with internships includes internship instruction, networking with professionals, internship advising, assisting with record keeping and updating internship information, policies and procedures, and registration of internships.

Salary

Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Salary Range: $16.92 - $23.80/ hour

Grade: GGS-008

University Title: SENIOR STUDENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00, or as needed

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Parks, Recreation, Sport and Tourism or a closely related discipline.
