Completes non-routine system planning, installation, analysis, and issue resolution independently to support institutional and partner network connectivity and performance.

Responsibilities • 30% Designs, installs, and tests enterprise wireless networks and associated hardware and software to ensure compliance and adhere to established timelines and expectations
• 30% Develops and implements complex wireless network management and monitoring tools, writing complex scripts to automate repetitive tasks
• 20% Researches network technologies and procures new equipment and resources to meet program or project requests independently
• 10% Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents non-routine network connectivity and performance issues in institutional and partner networks according to established procedures, best practices, and regulations
• 5% Assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to align with strategic initiatives and unit objectives
• 5% Trains staff and/or clients and serves as a main point of contact for internal and external individuals and groups Qualifications Required:

• Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise network system design and administration including multiple protocols, platforms, equipment, and tools.
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise network administration of a complex environment.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining an enterprise wireless network
• Demonstrated experience maintaining enterprise VoIP systems
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience
• Experience with HP Aruba, Cisco infrastructure, Palo Alto Security, etc.
• Certifications in related disciplines.
• Demonstrated knowledge of server system design and administration including multiple protocols, platforms, equipment, and tools.
• Proficiency in physical security-related systems such as Schneider Electric Security Expert, Andover Controls, Security camera software ie: Milestone™.
• Proficiency using project management tools to complete projects.
• Experience with procurement processes and vendor management
• Experience managing firewalls security and associated best practices
• Experience designing, implementing, and administering multi-building physical security and access control systems, including door controls and video security installations.
• Communication skills both oral and written that are professional, effective, sensitive and clear.
• Demonstrated competencies such as:
o Organization, prioritization, attention to detail
o Ability to manage conflict and interaction with constituents,
o Ability to learn and adapt to new technology,
o Strong critical thinking,
