Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range: $5,200 to $5,667 per month

This is a full-time, probationary, exempt position and includes full benefits. Athletic Corporation employees are at-will.

This position is not eligible for remote work pursuant to Fresno State's remote work guidelines and the CSU policy requiring all work be performed within the State of California.

Job Summary

Under direction of the Director of Athletics or as assigned, the Director of Sports Nutrition will work closely with the Sports Medicine Staff and Strength and Conditioning Staff in supporting the athletic and nutritional goals of coaches and student-athletes. Within this collaborative sports performance group they will work to advance the overall objective of meeting the sports performance goals of all of the departments’ intercollegiate athletic teams.

Key Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration) required
  • Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)
  • Ability to exercise professional independent judgement and discretion

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution in Nutrition or related field
  • Minimum of two years professional experience working with college age population and collegiate student-athletes
