This position will assist with developing a strategic international recruitment plan and provide support to the director and assistant director for the Office of International Admissions. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a recruitment plan to include virtual and in-person international events; manage third party recruitment agencies; manage pre & post admission related communications; organize and deliver virtual pre-arrival information sessions; and offer general support for the Office of International Admissions. This position will serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) for SEVIS and will require some international travel.

Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field required. A bachelor’s degree in a related field with experience and training equivalent to a master’s degree may be substituted.
U.S. Citizenship for SEVIS and DSO/ARO certification is a required condition of employment.

Several years of admissions or higher education experience required. Experience working with diverse / international populations required. Previous study / travel / work abroad or ability to speak a foreign language is required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Moderate computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft applications, social media, etc. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work on sensitive assignments.

Preferred Qualifications: Degree with an international emphasis is preferred. Experience and knowledge of current (F-1) student non-immigration / SEVIS policies. Ability to speak a foreign language.

Conditions of Employment: Will require some international travel.
