Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 514992), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or equivalent, with a strong background in material science and soft matter physics. Having research experience in active matter synthesis, thermal measurement, or energy harvesting is preferred. They should have fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, a strong sense of responsibility, good organizational and leadership skills, the ability to work independently and be self-motivated. The appointee will work on the research area of “Active Material for Renewable Energy” under the supervision of Dr. J. Tang. Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. J.
