Department Summary
The Office of Admissions includes over 50 staff who are engaged in the work of recruitment and outreach to prospective undergraduates, and making admission decisions on all applicants for freshman, transfer, and post baccalaureate undergraduate admission. Admissions is a unit of the Division of Student Services & Enrollment Management, and works closely with several other units of that division, especially Scholarships/Financial Aid and Orientation, as well as many other parts of campus.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of the information systems used by the Office of admissions. This includes the Admissions module in the Banner Student Information System, the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), SLATE, Imaging System (OnBase) and data integrity of the report writing systems (Cognos). This includes review of upgrades to the systems, evaluation of new and auxiliary products, and integration of new recruiting, admissions, or university procedures into the system. Supervises at least one Officer of Administration (OA) position.
Reports to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions Operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three years of experience working with relational database
operations,
data integrity and report writing.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from

- Application administration experience with primary
responsibilities to maintain critical applications and
infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree
- Demonstrated understanding of admissions information issues
including electronic transfer of data and electronic transfer of
applications for admission.
- Experience using student information systems, preferably
Elucian - Banner
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably Slate
- Experience writing and using SQL (Structured Query
Language)
- Ability to use appropriate development and productivity tools
to improve efficiency in the development of software
solutions.
- Understanding of technical and vendor documentation and ability
to maintain internal documentation.
- Experience working in Higher Education
- Two years of supervisory experience
