Under general supervision assists students and families with financial aid options and processing federal, state and institutional financial aid applications in accordance with federal, state and college regulations. Essential Duties Summary
  • Front-line customer service.
  • Interpreting and explaining federal and state regulations to students and parents.
  • Interpreting and explaining federal and state regulations to students and parents.
  • Reviews and processes financial aid applications.
  • Awarding/Packing.
  • Outreach (Workshops, Orientations, Open Houses, etc.).
  • Scans documents.
  • Answers phone calls.
  • Collects required documents related to financial aid applications.
  • Responds to emails from financial aid email.
  • Packaging/Awarding students for the appropriate school term.
  • Conducts workshops.
  • Answers phone calls and respond to emails from students, parents, faculty and outside entities.
  • Processes paperwork.
  • ·Exercises professional judgment to determine if adjustments should be made.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Assists with FAFSA applications.
  • Conducts exit counseling.
  • Reviews and explains billing to students, and parents to the best of my knowledge.
  • Assists students, and parents with verification of their income, household size, etc.
  • Maintains and ensures confidentiality of student records and information.
  • Performs additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid, Assistant Director of Financial Aid, or other designated management.
  • Assists with outreach.
  • Responsible for record maintenance.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Some College or Associate’s degree (A.A.) or higher. Required Licensing/Certification
