The Department of Management ( https://business.providence.edu/management/ ) in the School of Business at Providence College is seeking two (2) full-time, tenure-track faculty members in management at the rank of assistant professor, commencing August 2023.

The Providence College School of Business ( https://business.providence.edu/ ) is an AACSB -accredited, fast-growing, innovative institution of higher learning committed to faculty and student excellence. The ideal candidate for this position will be committed to high-quality teaching, research, and service. The School of Business particularly values innovative, experiential, and student-centered teaching approaches. A successful candidate will be expected to conduct scholarly research in his/her area of concentration consistent with the standards of AACSB, and to engage in service activities for the School and the College. Essential Duties
The successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and MBA courses in organizational behavior and/or human resources. The ability to teach additional courses such as HR analytics, diversity and inclusion, negotiation, or the department’s introductory management course would be valued. Education and Experience Required
A Ph.D. in management or a related field from an AACSB -accredited institution is required. ABDs with anticipated completion by the time of appointment will also be considered.
