Position Information
Position Title Transportation Driver Overview
The Transportation Driver is responsible for transporting positive COVID -19 patients to off-campus lodging, and providing food deliveries, as well as student prescription pick-up and drop off.
Hours: Monday through Friday. One shift is available:
• 1:00pm-7:00pm (afternoon shift) Essential Duties:
Vehicles and disinfection tools/equipment will be provided by the College:
• Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting commonly touched surfaces at the beginning and
end of each transport, particularly if the vehicle is also used by other drivers, following the
directions on the cleaning product’s label. Frequently touched surfaces include the steering
wheel, gearshift, signaling levers, door handles, and seatbelt buckles.
Personal Protective equipment ( PPE ) will be provided by the College:
• Must be able to wear a cloth face-covering per CDC and Occupational
Safety and Health Administration ( OSHA ) guidance and State and local requirements.
• Provide support for Education Department
• Assist with any other transportation needs on and off-campus, as needed. Marginal Duties:
All other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Required
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years, with a good driving history required
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Good organizational and communication skills
