Essential Functions (Job Duties)
Communicate effectively and accurately the academic expectations and career opportunities and internships available to CMP business students in various majors and concentration in the Mike Ilitch School of Business.

Maintain continuous advising relationships with students and alumni.

Engage CMP students in broad discussion from initial college preparedness through career planning.

Monitor and communicate using university systems, social media, small group, and face-to-face sessions, as appropriate.

Coordinate placement efforts within the Mike Ilitch School of Business.

Work with supervisors, staff, and faculty.

Demonstrate ability to act as liaison with other units, participate in meetings and work as a member of a team.

Within the Mike Ilitch School of Business advise undergraduate CMP students, graduate students, and alumni on academic requirements for differing career opportunities.

Provide guidance and assistance in clarifying academic and career goals through individual ad.

Unique Duties

Qualifications
Master's degree required; preferably in Business Administration, will also consider higher education administration, student development/affairs, counseling guidance, or closely related field.

Ability to establish genuine relationship with individuals, be helpful by providing exceptional service, influence and sustain positive relationships.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with exceptional public speaking skills. Ability to transfer knowledge to a diverse and multicultural.
