Description
Responsibilities:
  • Teach classes in undergraduate and graduate education programs, particularly courses focusing on Literacy methods and Special Education
  • Engage in service at the departmental and professional levels
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support program needs and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Earned doctorate and/or advanced specializations in Literacy and Special Education, or a closely related field.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of three years of K-12 teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and evidence of scholarly productivity that will be transferable to an institution of higher education.
  • Demonstrated course development and teaching experience in post-secondary education
  • A person with a commitment to justice, inclusion, and equity and the ability to embed relevant practices in course development and as a colleague.
