The Department of Communication Arts seeks
applicants for a limited term faculty position for the 2022-23
academic year beginning August 1, 2022, and ending May 8,
2023. Position is non-tenure track with rank of either
Instructor or Assistant Professor. The selected candidate
will be responsible for teaching courses primarily in Communication
Theory, Interviewing & Listening, Interpersonal, and Advanced
Interpersonal Communication, and other areas based on

The position will be responsible for teaching a 4/4 course load
(fall/spring) in communication. This position is primarily
responsible for teaching courses related to Communication Theory,
Interviewing & Listening, Interpersonal, and Advanced
Interpersonal Communication. Introductory courses such as Public
Speaking and Human Communication, and other teaching assignments
based on qualifications, may also be part of the teaching load.
Courses may be delivered in traditional, online, hybrid, and in
off-campus formats. Faculty members are expected to make
substantive contributions to the Department including department,
university, and community service.
