Job Description:

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry level Desktop Support Specialist to join Academic Technology, Technology Support Services, a unit within UFIT.

Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community.

Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:
  • Knowledge of various current OS environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, G suite, Dropbox and other software used across campus.
  • Excellent customer service.

Expected Salary:

$17.50 - $19.16 per hour commensurate based on education and experience. In addition, the University of Florida offers a very competitive benefits package. https://benefits.hr.ufl.edu/

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience.

Must have a valid FL driver's license.
