Coordinates, facilitates and supports the talent management area of Human Resources including employment and training services.
- Handles training class administration including, but not limited to, maintain sessions in PeopleSoft, coordinating class enrollment, and providing attendee lists and reports to trainers.
- Responsible for ensuring that all UH System new hires are enrolled in mandatory new hire training and orientation.
- Maintains HR Training calendar and schedules training room reservations accordingly.
- Advances the university's opportunities by participating in recruitment efforts and referring qualified internal candidates for vacant positions.
- Assist in processes related to onboarding including completing checks on backgrounds, debts and duplicate PeopleSoft information as needed.
- Responsible for all aspects of New Hire Orientation including room set up, vendor preparations, etc.
- Participates in job fairs and other recruiting functions to expand the university's job pool as needed.
- Responds to training and employment related service inquiries and concerns; and provides on-going metric reports.
- Assists with ensuring all materials both print and visual have a consistent professional brand that aids in department product recognition.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
Bachelors and 1 year experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
