Senior Program Manager for Graduate Administration

About the Opportunity

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Management
  • Serve as a central point of contact for all graduate curriculum and course submissions
  • Review proposals to ensure proper University and College-level guidelines are followed. Edit catalog submissions for content and style
  • Build and maintain a database to centralize all curriculum files
  • Coordinate annual review of College and department-level catalog
  • Set up and manage key curricular meetings, such as the Graduate Curriculum Committee meetings
  • Set up a procedure and track progress of curriculum revision
  • Work with the Registrar's Office on curriculum related matters
  • Collaborate with groups outside of the College including the Global Experiences Office or pathway programs, to ensure curricular integration
  • Support Associate Dean and Assistant Dean with curricular activities


Assessment Management
  • Serve as a representative for College of Science on the Provost's Assessment Leadership Team
  • Manage AEFIS database of assessment policies and results, for purposes of NECHE accreditation
  • Train and assist faculty on creating and assessing course and program learning outcomes and help faculty upload materials into the AEFIS database


Data Collection and Analysis
  • Explore and examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources in order to identify, provide reporting on, and analyze trends in the data as well as regular reporting
  • Build, maintain, and disseminate analyses of key graduate information including but not limited to weekly enrollment changes across all professional programs, analyzing feedback on student satisfaction, and creating reports that inform future programming decisions
  • Design and deploy surveys to graduate faculty and student populations and analyze results
  • Provide data support for Assistant Dean and Associate Dean's public presentations


Trainings, Outreach, and Special Projects
  • Create new program launch checklist and track progress with relevant stakeholders
  • Work with COS and university-level partners to design graduate-level trainings, seminars, and related programming
  • Partner with COS Marketing & Communications for input into COS graduate program recruitment materials and current student outreach
  • Support Global Network program approval process
  • Maintain and update supporting documents, planning information, and other curricular materials for Global Network program offerings
  • Support Assistant Dean on strategy execution


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required, with a minimum of six years of experience in higher education. Experience in academic affairs, specifically course and curriculum development, preferred. Knowledge of data management associated with academic program enrollment and administration.

Successful candidates will demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as an ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities and take initiative and ownership of projects. Candidates should also demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This position requires a positive, energetic, and experienced professional who is capable of independently executing tasks and leading projects within academic programming and data analysis work. Ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual that has excellent communication skills.
