Our locations—in Boston; Charlotte, North Carolina; London; Portland, Maine; San Francisco; Seattle; Silicon Valley; Toronto; Vancouver; and the Massachusetts communities of Burlington and Nahant—are nodes in our growing global university system. Through this network, we expand opportunities for flexible, student-centered learning and collaborative, solutions-focused research.

Northeastern's comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs— in a variety of on-campus and online formats—lead to degrees through the doctorate in nine colleges and schools. Among these, we offer more than 195 multi-discipline majors and degrees designed to prepare students for purposeful lives and careers.

About the Opportunity:
The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice (SCCJ) at Northeastern University seeks applications and nominations from criminology and criminal justice scholars for one or more tenured, tenure track and Professor of the Practice positions. The candidates' field of expertise within criminology and criminal justice is open. The school has a special interest in applicants with expertise in race and justice with emphasis on justice policy evaluation and reform. We are interested in scholars using a wide range of methodologies, including computational methods, big data, and qualitative approaches. SCCJ faculty have extensive records of publication and external research funding and demonstrable impact. SCCJ faculty play key roles in advancing larger university goals in the areas of racial justice and anti-racism, big data analysis, urban informatics, network science, and security. The School has a highly-ranked PhD program, a quickly growing Master's program, and a unique undergraduate program comprised of a large number of combined majors with other units including psychology, political science, sociology, philosophy, journalism, international affairs, and computer science and cybersecurity. A joint appointment with another unit in the college or university is possible.
