Buena Vista University has a job opening for an Event Planning
Assistant at the Siebens Forum Information Desk. This position is
responsible for overseeing daily operations in Event Services under
the direction of the Director. This position assists in the
coordination of events, conferences, and meetings. Duties include
assisting with planning, handling logistics, and providing onsite
event assistance. A typical schedule is 8 am to 5 pm but must be
available nights and weekends to assist with events.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office
programs, have the ability to prioritize with strong organizational
skills, and be able to communicate verbally and in writing. A High
School diploma is required, and one to three years of office
experience is preferred. A background check will be conducted on
the final candidate.
