The Chester Children’s Chorus seeks Swim Instructors for its 2022 Summer Learning Program, which runs from Monday, June 20 through Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
Founded in 1994 by Dr. John Alston, the Chester Children's Chorus (CCC) provides rigorous music education to Chester, Pennsylvania students (grades 3-12). All CCC students are invited to attend the six-week CCC Summer Learning Program on the Swarthmore College campus.
Essential Responsibilities:
Students participate in daily choral music instruction, dance, art, academic and physical education classes.
Swim instructors report directly to the Swim Coordinator, with added support from program staff. Instructors work with students in grades 3-5 on Monday through Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Required Qualifications:
Must be 16 years or older with working papers
Advanced swimming skills
Red Cross certification preferred
Experience as a lifeguard or previous teaching experience preferred
Must enjoy working with children
