The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, School of Business we seek a new colleague who is passionate about delivering high-quality education in international business. We specifically are seeking candidates who: a. shows great teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels in international business topics, and b. shows research potential for publishing papers or strong working studies aimed at quality journals.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach and design courses at the bachelor level in International Business Administration and at the master level MBA program.
  • Initiate and perform high-quality research in the field of international business
  • Contribute to the management of the Department / School committees
  • Be committed to obtaining a university teaching qualification, or to possess one already.

 


Candidates should attach a cover letter of interest, detailed curriculum vitae and list of professional references to their applicant package.       Minimum Training and Experience Requirements:  Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. in International Business or Management or related degree, preferably from an AACSB accredited school. and must be fluent in English. Because we place great value on high-quality education, we look for candidates who are passionate teachers. They also can have a research interest in such areas as MNEs’ competitive strategies, decisions regarding location and entry modes, internationalization in the digital age, transformation processes of multinational enterprises, global knowledge processes, and doing business in emerging markets. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach International Business.
          Management Preference: Prior experience teaching in higher education.         Special Instructions to Applicants:   This position is subject to the successful completion of an employment background check.
