Job Title: Benefits Services Manager – Position at CUNY

 

The City University of New York is seeking an Employee Benefits Services Manager for the University Benefits Office to support all employee benefits programs available to CUNY employees and retirees of its 25 colleges and schools across the five boroughs of New York City.  Reporting to the University Director of Employee Benefits, the Benefits Services Manager will develop and manage an employee service model to respond to inquiries from employees, retirees, and beneficiaries, as well as resolve benefits issues; provide information, guidance, and assistance by explaining the leave of absence programs, and retirement leaves as it relates to payments and provisions based upon title series, written policies, existing collective bargaining agreements, and established procedures; collaborate with agencies, vendors, and campus Human Resources partners to develop and implement programs; researches and analyzes employee data, plan documents, and regulations to coordinate responses to inquiries; and create and conduct program trainings.  A Bachelor’s degree and six years’ related experience required.  The ideal candidate will possess a PHR, SPHR, CEBS, or other professional HR and benefits certification; have six years’ experience managing employee health, welfare, and retirement benefits plans/programs; and have experience implementing a benefits centralization, HRIS, ERP, or other complex project.  Compensation: $66,455-$105,676 commensurate with qualifications, experience, and education.  Posting Close Date: June 20, 2022.
