Schedule Information: Monday-Friday; schedule is negotiable

Hours per Week: 26

Benefits: Prorated Sick & Vacation; Holiday Pay; and 2 Harper Tuition Waivers per semester

Work Conditions: Work is primarily indoor and sedentary in nature.

Duties of Position: Supports the Institutional Effectiveness and Outcomes Assessment office by assisting in the administration and organization of survey research. This position is responsible for organizing, retrieving, verifying, and compiling survey information.

Communicates effectively with colleagues to answer questions and collect information related to surveys. Problem solves when survey questions arise from faculty and staff.

Uses online survey software/tools and scanning tools to build, administer, troubleshoot, extract, and compile survey data for various stakeholders across campus.

Coordinates survey data collection with external vendor staff as needed.

Consults with internal stakeholders regarding survey instruments, timing, and delivery.

Develops internal survey and project lists and maintains the institutional survey calendar on the employee portal.

Performs basic data analysis and visual representation including the creation of tables, charts, presentations, and reports.

Assists with the development and dissemination of division and department reports, communication, and support materials, such as the survey and focus group guides, and institutional effectiveness reports.

Serves as front line expert on qualitative research processes, including surveys, focus groups and listening sessions.

Maintains Survey Monkey account site and ensures surveys are archived as needed in the system.

Develops and maintains survey and qualitative research portal pages.

Supports the Institutional Effectiveness processes of the College.

Works closely with the Institutional Effectiveness analyst on survey-related projects.

Provides office support including answering phones, updating and maintaining resources for clients, and maintaining office files and documentation.

Attends committee, division and department meetings and prepares summaries of discussions.

Organizes online file storage of survey instruments and results.

Provides assistance with special projects as needed.

Performs other duties as needed.

Educational Requirements: Associate Degree or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years working in an office that handles large quantities of data. Intermediate or Advanced level of experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and survey software/tools (Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, etc).
