The Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the University of Houston is hiring a full-time lecturer of Arabic to teach three sections of Arabic in the Fall 2022.

Qualifications :

A master's degree and experience teaching Arabic at the college level is preferred. Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic required.

While we expect that instruction will be face-to-face this fall, experience with online teaching is desirable. This position is contingent upon enrollment and funding.

Teaching experience and familiarity with the Al-Kitaab Arabic curriculum is strongly desired. Teaching experience in French is a plus.
