Trinity Washington University seeks an experienced admissions and enrollment professional (one who can yield results) with superior interpersonal skills, a commitment to the mission of Trinity, previous CRM experience, and a thorough understanding of Trinity’s target market. The Associate Vice President (AVP) will collaborate across the enrollment management spectrum to achieve enrollment results primarily for the women’s college in the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS). Such collaboration includes the Student Success Center in which Academic Advisors are a vital part, Financial Aid, Program faculty, student ambassadors, alumnae as needed, and other Admissions Recruiters.  The AVP will report to the Vice President for Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions and will serve as a senior leader on the Admissions team, capable of serving as a proxy or designate for the Vice President of Marketing, Recruitment & Admissions when needed. The AVP will utilize data and relationship management to steward University Partners (i.e., High School Guidance Counselors, external partners in the District of Columbia Public Schools, Prince George’s County Public Schools, and the greater Metropolitan area) with the clear goal to bolster enrollment outcomes from partnership funnels and build/execute innovative yield efforts for the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS). The AVP will supervise the CAS Admissions team.

Primary responsibilities of the position include:

  • Steward and strengthen university partnerships to build an enrollment funnel to meet enrollment goals
  • Increase applications for targeted enrollment growth utilizing innovative market outreach and sales strategies
  • Develop and execute innovative yield events for the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS)
  • Use data to track enrollment analytics and target efforts for outreach
  • Produce and provide compelling presentations for multiple constituents to support enrollment growth
  • Supervise CAS Admissions team
  • Manage Admitted Student Portal (to be created in the newly secured CRM)

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, with at least eight years of admissions-related/sales experience in higher education; a Master’s degree, is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Must have reliable and appropriate transportation. Trinity reimburses mileage and travel expenses.
  • Previous experience working with a CRM in higher education
