The Agnes Scott College Department of Political Science is seeking applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 2022. This position is a one-year appointment with teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate level, three courses each semester. The department is especially interested in someone able to teach introductory courses in U.S. and global politics, upper-level courses in theories of international relations, and additional upper-division courses in their areas of specialization. A PhD is required for a Visiting Assistant Professor position; MA, MS, and ABD candidates will be considered for appointment at the Visiting Instructor level. Evidence of excellence or promise of excellence in teaching at the college level is also required.
