Job Description Summary

AUBURN UNIVERSITY, Auburn, AL. The Department of Philosophy is seeking candidates for possible Lecturer positions, beginning the 2022-2023 academic year. These positions are nine-month, non-tenure track and are renewable, contingent upon performance and funding. Though they come with teaching responsibilities only, successful candidates are expected to make professional progress. The course load is four classes per semester, but typically do not require more than one preparation per semester. Salary is $44,000.00. Final appointment is contingent upon funding. PhD in Philosophy by start date is desired, ABD required at the time of appointment. Review of applicants will begin May 30, 2022 and continue until position is filled.

The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the term of employment.
