The Department of Computer Science at Kettering University invites applications for a position at the Assistant Professor/Professor of the Practice level with a specialization in Cybersecurity. Required qualifications include: (1) PhD in Computer Science, or closely related field. ABD with completion by time of appointment, (2) Evidence of, or strong promise of, research in Cybersecurity for Assistant Professor, or industrial experience related to Cybersecurity for the Professor of the Practice,  and 3) Evidence of excellence in teaching in Cybersecurity, (4) Exceptional promise for, or a proven record of, excellence in teaching of a broad range of undergraduate computer science courses, (5) Desire to collaborate with other faculty members in the department and associated departments, (6) Strong interest in undergraduate education, and incorporating undergraduate students in research projects, (7) Willingness to participate in university and professional development activities including curriculum development, assessment, and improvement, and (8) Good oral and written communication skills in the English language. Note the Assistant Professor is a tenure track position while the Professor of the Practice is a non-tenured track, multi-year renewable position.
