Job Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Tarrant County College Foundation, the Records Management Specialist provides overall maintenance and management of Tarrant County College Foundation ( TCCF ) gifts and records and supports student scholarships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performance Requirements*
  • Provides oversight and management for all TCCF constituent records with the application of fundraising and foundation operations policies and practices
  • Prepares and sends donor gift acknowledgements
  • Maintains donor, constituent, and alumni database by entering new gifts and necessary changes to existing records, performing routine data audits, keeping all records updated, improving the database usability
  • Assists the Accounting team to prepare and deposit checks and reconcile monthly donations
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and operational management of policies and procedures relating to TCCF records
  • Supports others within the TCCF team by helping coordinate events, perform administrative tasks, and assist with scholarship administration

Service Excellence
  • Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
  • Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College ( TCC ) Institute
  • Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation, and creativity and service to the College
  • Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College

Supervision
Works under the general supervision of the Executive Director of the Tarrant County College Foundation

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures
  • Associate’s degree or 60 college hours
  • One (1) year working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements
Desired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working with Raiser’s Edge donor management software
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
  • Knowledge of database systems
  • Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with diverse populations
  • Skilled using enterprise systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and a setting that is diverse and urban with a high degree of personal integrity, accuracy, consistency, and accountability
  • Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
