Adjunct Faculty - Computer Science - Networks and Security



Aurora University seeks talented adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and learning. Adjunct faculty are qualified part-time instructors offered teaching opportunities based on course demand and staffing.

Aurora University is searching for qualified instructors as part of its adjunct faculty pool to teach in Computer Science and related programs. We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach the following courses in computer science:
  • Networks and Security
    This course is an introduction to computer networking and data communications, and the skills needed to identify, lockdown, and secure a small to medium enterprise branch network. Topics include various network types, TCP/IP protocols, data transmission techniques, wireless and mobile networks, network topologies, and various network security protocols. This course will enhance specific skills in developing a secure infrastructure, recognizing threats, and mitigating security threats.
While a terminal degree is preferred, a master's degree in a related field is required. Industry experience and college-level teaching experience are preferred.
