Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Custodial Services Program Manager, this position will identify work unit resources needs, supervise, and develop effective custodial teams and coordinate project work to ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the University Housing facilities at several different locations. The Custodial Services Supervisor has 24 hour responsibility for a complex custodial operation. A flexible work schedule is mandatory for this position and hours will vary throughout the year.

A well-qualified candidate possessing the ideal combination of skills and experience can expect a starting salary offer at or above $44,000 annually and a generous paid leave package including:
Vacation: 22 days/year
Observed Legal Holidays: Nine legal holidays are observed
Personal/Floating Holidays: 4.5 days/year
Sick Leave: Initial entitlement of 22 days which may be used during the first 18-months of employment (one day/month earned thereafter)

Minimum Qualifications
• Prior experience serving in a supervisory or lead worker capacity
• Ability to work weekends and nights, when necessary



Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience supervising full-time custodial staff
• Prior experience supervising student staff
• Prior experience training staff
• Prior experience scheduling staff
• Prior work experience in a facility that operates 24/7
• Prior experience safely operating a forklift
