Job Summary
Reporting to the Coordinator of Asset Management, the Asset Management Supervisor assists with compiling monthly fixed assets reports and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of equipment and furnishings for all departments in the district.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Performance Requirements*
- Verifies accuracy of records within the fixed asset database
- Reviews equipment transfer paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Assists Coordinator of Asset Management with reconciling physical inventory records
- Tracks monthly and annual workload for all staff within the department
- Issues and reviews monthly fixed assets acquisitions
- Assists with maintaining Surplus Furniture and Equipment warehouse
- Ensures proper procedures are followed for all District owned property
- Places orders for all departmental purchases
- Assists in annual physical inventory of District owned assets
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
- Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College ( TCC ) Institute
- Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation, and creativity and service to the College
- Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College
Works under the general supervision of the Coordinator of Asset Management
* Performs Other Related Tasks as Required

Required Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or 60 college hours
- One (1) year working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements
- Current valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
- Experience with managing fixed assets in a multi-campus college environment
- Certified to drive a forklift and able to operate a powered pallet jack
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and a setting that is diverse and urban
- Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
- Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations
- Ability to delegate work appropriately to faculty and staff to meet College and campus deliverables
- Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems, including word processing and spreadsheet software
- Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with diverse populations
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
