The successful candidate must demonstrate evidence of outstanding research and teaching excellence with a clear focus on educational innovation and practice, including but not limited to the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL), the scholarship of educational leadership (SoEL), enhancing methodologies of teaching practice, understanding and improving student learning and curriculum decision-making.

The successful candidate is expected to (a) build on an existing program of original, externally funded research (e.g., Tri-Agency, foundation, and partnership grants); (b)  engage in undergraduate and graduate teaching in the Faculty; (c) contribute to the growth of the Pharmacy Education Research and Leadership (PERL) theme through supervision of graduate students, participation in service activities within the Faculty, University and in the broader scholarly community; and (d) collaborate with scholars within the Faculty, across Faculties at UBC, and internationally.
