The selected candidates will teach the WEB-prefixed courses that fulfill the requirements for our two-year Web Development and Digital Media AAS degree. The degree includes three built-in certificates depending on the course path chosen by the student: Web Technologies, Web Development, and Digital Media. Performing tasks that may involve web design and development, technical troubleshooting of content, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries, such as; React, Vue, user-centered design, and web usability. As an adjunct faculty member, you'll provide program instruction in an online or face-to-face or face-to-face hybrid or web hybrid formats, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

Scheduling, shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by educational necessity.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in related field, OR a combination of bachelor degree, industry-related training, and industry experience
Demonstrated ability to be a lifelong learner, particularly in the area of web-related technologies and digital media concepts and methods
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well in a team of diverse skills and viewpoints
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred in related field
Teaching experience preferred
Experience creating training or instructional materials preferred
Ability and desire to teach introductory courses that include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, digital media concepts, user interface concepts, and development of digital media assets
Ability and desire to teach current web development tools including browsers, code editors, client/server communication tools, as well as digital media software related to photographic (film, video, still) and audio assets
Ability and desire to teach professional skills needed by the digital developer including written and oral communication skills, problem solving, and project management
Ability and desire to teach courses beyond the introductory level such as web analytics, search engine optimization, JavaScript libraries and frameworks, PHP, MySQL, web application development, user experience concepts, or any other web-related emerging technology, digital media skill, or web application development best practice
Experience with learning management systems and online teaching
Experience with learning management systems and online teaching
Familiarity with the mission of community colleges as well as the diversity, goals, and learning styles of community college students
