Position Summary
The Department of Psychology is looking to fill three, full-time one-year Lecturer positions beginning August 2022, with the possibility for reappointment up to two additional one-year appointments. We seek outstanding teacher/scholars dedicated to excellence in Psychology. The successful candidate will be able to teach Introductory Psychology, Statistics I, and/or Research Methods, as well as areas within their discipline. The position also requires contributing effectively to curriculum development efforts, advising and mentoring students, and providing service to the department and college. Candidates with a demonstrated commitment to working with women and underrepresented minority students through teaching, mentoring, and research are especially encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Psychology, or related field, or at least 18 credit hours toward a doctoral program completion (at the start of the appointment).
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in teaching courses in multiple modalities (e.g. in-person, online, hybrid, hyflex)
Experience teaching R software (for applicants interested in teaching Statistics I)
