Division: Fairfield Prep
Department: Principal-Enroll & Mkt
Reports to: Director of Admissions
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: This is an entry level position. No work experience required. Experience in Jesuit Education preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills are needed in interacting with the public, working one to one, on the telephone, email and social media.
Ability to converse in Spanish preferred but not required.
Maintain confidential information and use discretion in selecting photos, videos, comments for presentations and interacting with others.
Primary Purpose & Function: Assist the Director and Associate Director of Admissions in carrying out the tasks assigned to the department, including but not limited to admissions, financial aid, marketing, branding and visual identity.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage the online Admissions application process for individual
students in conjunction with the Director and Associate
Director.
- Manage an individual portfolio of applicants based on office
segmentation needs.
- Manage incoming mail, the main Admissions email account and
telephone line. Respond to any questions, take messages & file
papers where appropriate.
- Monitor and update the admissions pages on the school’s
website.
- Conduct tours of the Fairfield Prep campus.
- Assist the Director and Associate Director in the organization
and operation of Fairfield Prep’s admission events, including (but
not limited to) Open House, entrance exam, receptions for accepted
applicants, Incoming Freshman Parents’ Orientation, home gathering
host families’ receptions, and Transfer and incoming freshman
orientations.
- Represent Fairfield Prep at area schools during the school day
and evenings.

- Attending departmental and school meetings, school masses and
retreats as requested
- Keeping current with industry standards and trends through such
items as membership in professional associations, attendance at
workshops and seminars and in the reading of professional
literature
- Efficiently performing all work-related functions
- Notifying supervisor immediately of any unsafe working
conditions
- Promoting the proper utilization of equipment and
materials
Prep - Admin
Performs such other duties, responsibilities, and activities as required by supervisor and as departmental/University needs indicate.
