Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Assistant Women's Rowing Coach in the Athletics department.

This position reports to the Head Women's Rowing Coach and is responsible to assist in managing all phases of a competitive Division I intercollegiate women's rowing program in compliance with all NCAA, Colonial Athletic Association and Monmouth University rules and regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, organizing the successful identification and recruitment of prospective student-athletes, academic support, skill instruction, including practice, training and event planning and execution, and primary supervision of the novice program; assist in the generation of alumni support and fundraising initiatives, formation and preparation of budget, while overseeing expenditures; communication and public relations responsibilities are also required, in addition to the creation of summer programs and community service activities.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree, Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal residence, CPR and NCAA recruiting certification must be attained within six months from date of hire

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must have an understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence

Required Years of Experience: 4

Other Requirements:
Four years of competitive rowing experience. Computer literate.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coaching at the NCAA Division I level. Proven successful high school/club, collegiate or elite rowing coaching experience.
