Summary
The Senior Coordinator will join and work with the OB GYN Education Team and provide leadership in GME assessment. This role will also entail programmatic management of several departmental GME fellowship programs and assisting with day-to-day operations and special events of departmental educational programs.
Job Duties
- Strengthen, manage, and coordinate with program directors a functional monthly assessment system, including incorporating MyTip reports, for each OB GYN GME program that is compliant with BCM GME leadership and each respective program’s regulatory body.
- Provide managerial leadership for GME fellowship programs including recruitment, onboarding and orientation, parking and travel logistics, didactic and meeting scheduling, graduation including graduation verification and other necessary programmatic requirements.
- Utilize the Concur system and partner with the Education Manager for necessary educational travel GME arrangements and reimbursements.
- Attend and participate in regular Educational Manager meetings, and plan/execute regular fellowship Program Director/Program Manager meetings.
- Partner with the other Educational Managers and GME Program Directors to strengthen the quality of educational training.
- Provide logistical support for and lead the semi-annual
clinical competency committee with an Associate Program Director
for the Residency Program.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent grammar skills.
