Job Description:

Provides leadership and management of the department, including general x-ray, CT, vascular and general ultrasound, nuclear medicine, MRI, PET/CT, mammography, imaging at the Dana Cancer Center, and off-site ambulatory locations. Is responsible for improving and maintaining a high quality of care and patient experience while maximizing financial performance. Plans, organizes, and oversees department budgets, all aspects of equipment. Develops and maintains policies, develops technical/non-technical standards, and ensures regulatory/accreditation requirements are met. Responsible for developing an efficient and effective staffing model to maintain optimal patient flow and collaborates with key stakeholders in nursing, ED, and clinics to promote safe and high-quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree with experience and credentialing from and accredited Radiology Program.
2. Five to seven or more years of previous management experience required
3. Experience managing care for patients of all ages and demographics including outpatient and inpatient settings.
4. Demonstrated ability in critical thinking, analysis and business plan development required
5. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within complex organizational structures required
6. Demonstrated ability to develop teams and manage successful outcomes required
7. Required to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays if needed
8. Previous experience with state and federal agencies related to radiation and radiology services including the Joint Commission
9. Current experience with PCs, and software programs such as the Microsoft Suite, PACS, EPCI or related systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree preferred.
