Job Description:
The Multi-Service Veterinary Assistant works with veterinarians and technicians to provide patient care and administrative support in the Small Animal Hospital. This individual will work one-on-one with clients, patients and hospital staff and must be able to develop friendly, professional relationships and maintain a positive attitude throughout all interactions. This position is responsible for assisting the veterinary technicians and clinicians with various patients throughout the specialty services. The assistants would be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the rooms and equipment as well as maintaining inventory and stock in these rooms. Individual should genuinely care about people and animals, possess excellent communication skills, highly organized, strong public relations skills, initiative to problem solve, active listening skills, and confidence in handling customer interactions, relationship building skills, projecting a professional image, and good interpersonal skills. Must be outgoing, full of enthusiasm and a team player.
Expected Salary:
$15.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent

Certified Veterinary Assistant
